Spot UV Coating

Spot UV Coating is a selective high-gloss varnish applied to specific areas of a printed box to create contrast, depth, and visual impact.

In our box manufacturing process, a transparent UV varnish is applied only to chosen elements such as logos, brand names, patterns, or images. The coated area is then cured under ultraviolet light, creating a glossy raised effect that stands out against a matte or non-coated background.

Spot UV is widely used to enhance luxury packaging and elevate brand presentation without altering the base print.

🔍 How It Works

1. Box surface is printed and laminated (usually matte).

2. A UV plate is created for selected artwork areas.

3. Gloss UV varnish is applied only to those areas.

4. UV light curing hardens the coating instantly.

The result is a glossy highlight effect with strong visual contrast.
